Capturing Creations

I love to cook. I especially love to bake.

I make many appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts, and take pictures of successful foods so I can remember what I made and how it turned out. As I get older I can look back at what I made in the past. I keep all these pictures in a folder on the computer which I decided to show my dad. He told me I should post them on the internet which I thought was a great way to keep track of what I created.

Now let me tell you a little about my hobby. I began baking because of my love of desserts, chocolate especially. I started to bake chocolate goodness and then later on, I began cooking. I learned all my cooking skills from watching foodnetwork, the techniques and the terms. I have a foodnetwork account and a recipe box with more than 500 recipes. I want to complete most of them. My goal is to make all these different types of recipes at least once, select the ones I like best, and continue to make them with my own little twists for perfection. It's very rare that I make a recipe twice because there are so many other recipes to try out there. Yes, even when guests come over, I prepare a meal with new recipes because it's new and exciting. I take that chance whether it may not taste as great as I want it to be.
